Who will best serve SDAs? You have two Socialists who do not support the constitution of the US on your page. Look at their voting record and listen to what these men have said. They have proven time and again to be a part of the problem, not part of the solution. They do not bring change. Rep. Ron Paul was a better choice than McCain. As for the Democratic ticket, it was lose-lose either way it went. It is not about serving Adventists. It is supposed to be about serving all the people of the US, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, and other ridiculous demographics that have only fragmented the American people. It is about upholding the law of the land, supporting the constitutional rights of all people. It is unconstitutional for religion to be used as a litmus test for who may or may not run for public office. The reality is that neither candidate is going to serve Adventists or anyone else for that matter. It hurts knowing a lot of SDAs are supporting Obama, knowing exactly what his positions are on many issues, and failing to see the harm his policies will bring to the US. The same goes for McCain. I thought Adventists supported the constitution of the US. Religious liberty is one of our key positions. I know what the US is becoming, and it is a shame that we are spending time talking partisan politics when we should be praying for spiritual unity. However, since politics is the subject, then all that is left to be said is that the Libertarian Party is the only party that Adventists have anything in common with. Its a shame more freedom-loving Adventists who love God and who love others won't support Bob Barr in the coming election.
